Ramadhan Di Negeri Tirai Bambu

Eramuslim – Meskipun hanya berjumlah sekitar 20 juta jiwa dari 1,3 miliar penduduk Cina yang banyak terkonsentrasi di barat laut negara ini, umat Muslim di negara ini memiliki adat dan tradisi tersendiri yang tidak akan dirasakan umat Muslim dinegara manapun di dunia.

Menurut laporan yang dikeluarkan kantor berita Xinhua, ketika waktu berbuka puasa umat Muslim di Cina memiliki kebiasaan makan Kurma disertai teh. Mereka kemudian segera menuju Masjid terdekat untuk menunaikan ibadah shalat Maghrib berjamaah, lalu makan bersama keluarga setelahnya.

Lain lagi dengan adat dan tradisi umat Muslim dari bangsa Han yang merupakan mayoritas etnis terbesar di Cina. Umat Muslim biasanya akan memberikan hadiah kepada tetangga mereka di hari-hari besar Islam, lalu dibalas kembali dengan pemberian hadiah kepada Muslim Han.

Tak perlu takut susah untuk mencari makanan halal serta khas Cina dan Arab ketika menikmati bulan Ramadhan di Negeri Tirai Bambu ini. Di sini kita akan menemukan 988 toko dan restoran makanan Islam yang tersebar di dekat Masjid selama bulan Ramadan tiba.

Selain makanan dan manisan khas Cina yang rendah lemak dan bebas kolestrol yang banyak kita jumpai di sekitar masjid-masjid yang berada di kota, Umat Muslim juga dapat menemukan makanan dan manisan khas Arab di bulan suci Ramadhan yang juga dikenal di negara ini dengan nama “Bachai”.

Dan diakhir perjalanan kita menyelami puasa di negeri ini, lampion atau lentera Ramadhan adalah oleh-oleh kerajinan dari Cina yang kini dapat kita temukan di seluruh penjuru dunia Arab ketika bulan Ramadhan tiba.
