World Hijab Day 2016 In Documentation

Muslimah Mark World  Hijab DayEramuslim – Setiap tahunnya, tanggal 1 Februari kini diperingati kalangan Muslimah di dunia sebagai “World Hijab Day” yang digagas oleh seorang Muslimah asal kota New York, Amerika Serikat, Nazma Khan, yang memulai ide sederhana ini sejak tahun 2013.

Berawal dari ide sederhana dengan mengajak perempuan non-Muslim untuk mengenakan hijab agar dapat merasakan kedamaian hati dan perasaan jika mengenakan hijab. Kini ide tersebut mendapat sambutan internasional baik dari kalangan Muslim ataupun non-Muslim.

Tercatat di tahun 2016 kali ini ada sekitar 116 negara yang ikut serta dalam acara serentak yang dilakukan pada tanggal 1 Februari kemarin, bertemakan “kesadaran yang lebih baik, pemahaman yang lebih dalam, perdamaian untuk dunia.”
